Furniture Kings

The spare, simple design of the Zen coffee table conveys a sense of calm and ease.
A single drawer, which is concealed at one end of the table, keeps clutter to a minimum. Its low slung rectangular shape maintains a minimalist design aesthetic.
An inset frosted glass square is placed off-center over the drawer and adds visual interest. Available in cherry wood or chocolate wenge stained oak. Made in Italy.

The Thai bed is an architectural beauty of ultimate function. With ingenious originality, the serene minimalism of its design conceals its many useful features.
The headboard is composed of two large panels that rise vertically by means of individual electric buttons, revealing practical shelf space inside. Between the two headboard panels, a recessed lamp in frosted glass illuminates the bed with a soft glow. The integrated glass topped bedside tables with drawers are cantilevered from the frame thereby omitting a clutter of legs. The entire composition appears to be floating above the floor. Wooden slats inside the platform eliminate the need for a box spring.
This sophisticated integrated system with a bed, two night tables, shelving and light outfits an entire bedroom. Available in Italian walnut or Wenge stained oak to fit Queen, Eastern King or California king mattresses.

The crystal clear glass Vitra Desk is a beautiful study in the geometry of angles. Composed of three thick slabs of glass joined by a single chrome rod, this desk appears to float in the room and does not add visual bulk. the locking cantilevered cherrywood drawers are shaped to reflect the angles of the base. The 5/8" (1.6 cm) thick rectangular top provides an ample work surface and the space between the drawers and glass top can be used to display items or for additional storage. This is a most original design that brings formal beauty and elegance to the office.

Standing nearly six feet tall, the impressive Alta bed lends dramatic definition to the sleeping area. The tall headboard is paired with a low, wide platform suggesting the design aesthetics of Eastern minimalism. In keeping with the ethnic feel, the headboard and platform are finished in a dark brown wenge stained oak. By alternating the direction of the coarse wood grain, the illusion of a subtle checker pattern is created. Inset in the platform frame are flexible wood slates that allow air to circulate beneath the mattress and eliminate the need for a boxspring.

One size fits all with the Alta Bed; Queen, Eastern King and California King mattresses use the same size bed, overlapping the surrounding platform proportionally. Shown in the top photo is the Queen mattress with the platform exposed equally by seven inches on the sides and the foot and four inches at the head. An Eastern King mattress will fully overlap the platform on the two long sides while leaving seven inches of the platform exposed at the foot and four inches at the head. A California King mattress will partially overlap the platform leaving two inches of the platform exposed on the two long sides while leaving four inches of the platform exposed at the foot and head.

Few beds match the beauty and powerful presence of the Alta bed. Its clean cut lines are contemporary while the dark oak wood is natural and warm. Ideal for allergy sufferers, the wood may be wiped clean with a damp cloth for a dust free sleeping environment.

Simple assembly of the platform frame and headboard is required. The headboard ships in three pieces and requires attachment to the wall with the included hardware.
Made in Italy.
